EARLY this morning I received a really nice email from a sports fan in the USA. I thought I’d share it with you.

It was titled ‘THANKS FOR INTRODUCING ME TO SPEEDWAY GP’ and went as follows:

“I live in the US and have been watching the '09 season of SpeedwayGP on HDTHR channel on Dishnetwork.

“I've always known of speedway racing but had never seen it. I've been a huge AMA Pro flattrack racing fan for over 40 years. (I'm 56).

“Your announcing and watching Emil and all the others race have made we wish I lived in Europe so I could see the races in person.

“You've got to be the most exciting announcer I've ever heard. I'd swear that you could make Olympic Curling exciting !!

“Being in the US, it is kinda of odd to hear someone say "looking stylish" when referring to a dirt track motorcycle race, but as good as you are even that sounds appropriate.

“I just wanted to tell you now much I enjoy hearing you and that you've made me a big fan of SpeedwayGP.”
